In The Name of God The Benificent The Merciful

  Prayer (Bowing – Ruku)

2/43 And be steadfast in prayer; practise regular charity; and bow down your
heads with those who bow * down (in prayer).

2/125 Remember We made the House a place of assembly for men and a place of
safety; and take ye the station of Abraham as a place of prayer; and We
covenanted with Abraham and Ishmael (Isma’il), that they should sanctify My House for
those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer).

2/136 Say ye: “We believe in God, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Ishmael (Isma’i)l, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to God (in submission).”

3/43 “O Mary! worship Thy Lord devoutly: Prostrate thyself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down.”

3/67 Abraham was not a Jew nor yet a Christian; but he was true in Faith, andbowed his will to God’s (in Islam/submission), and he joined not gods with God.

5/55 Your (real) friends are (no less than) God, His Apostle, and the (fellowship of) believers,- those who establish regular prayers and regular charity, and they bowdown humbly (in prayer).

5/111 “And behold! I inspired the disciples to have faith in Me and Mine Apostle: they said, ‘We have faith, and do thou bear witness that we bow to God as Muslims(submitters)'”.

6/14 Say: “Shall I take for my protector any other than God, the Maker of the heavens and the earth? And He it is that feedeth but is not fed.” Say: “Nay! but I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to God (in Islam), and be not thou of the company of those who join gods with God.”

6/163 No partner hath He: this am I commanded, and I am the first of those who bowto His will.

7/206 Those who are near to thy Lord, disdain not to do Him worship: They celebrate His praises, and bow down before Him (in prayer).

9/112 Those that turn (to God) in repentance; that serve Him, and praise Him; that wander in devotion to the cause of God,: that bow down and prostrate themselves in prayer; that enjoin good and forbid evil; and observe the limit set by God;- (These do rejoice). So proclaim the glad tidings to the Believers.

22/26 Behold! We gave the site, to Abraham, of the (Sacred) House, (saying): “Associate not anything (in prayer) with Me; and sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or stand up, or bow, or prostrate themselves ( in prayer).

Glorification during bowing
